Public Offer for Psychological Services
Version dated 18 October 2026
This English text is a translation provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Russian-language version published at tatianayess.com prevails.
This document is a public offer (Article 437 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation) by Tatiana Vladimirovna Pytina-Filippova, who practices under the name Tatiana Yess, a self-employed person (the “Psychologist”), addressed to any adult, legally capable individual (the “Client”). Payment for a service constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of the offer (acceptance) and the conclusion of an agreement on the terms set out below.
1. Subject matter
1.1. The Psychologist provides the Client with online psychological counseling services, and the Client accepts and pays for them on the terms of this offer.
1.2. The service formats, their content, session length and price are specified on tatianayess.com at the time of payment:
- an extended session (2 hours) for working on one issue;
- the “A month of sessions” package – four sessions within the package term (hereinafter the “Package”).
1.3. The services are not medical services and do not constitute psychiatric or psychotherapeutic (in the medical sense) care. The Psychologist does not make diagnoses and does not prescribe treatment or medication. The services are also not financial, legal or investment advice.
2. Who can become a Client
2.1. The Psychologist works only with people who have decided for themselves to seek help. Bookings made on the initiative of third parties are not accepted.
2.2. The Psychologist does not take on Clients:
- who have addictions (alcohol, drugs, gambling and others);
- who are in a condition requiring intensive psychiatric supervision or specialized treatment.
2.3. A psychiatric diagnosis or the use of medication does not in itself rule out working with the Psychologist: whether psychological work is possible is decided individually, taking into account the Client’s condition, request and the level of help needed. The Client informs the Psychologist if they are under the care of a psychiatrist or neurologist or take psychotropic medication. If the situation is beyond the Psychologist’s competence, or the Client needs help from another specialist, the Psychologist will recommend consulting that specialist and may suspend work until such a consultation has taken place.
3. Price and payment
3.1. The price of the services is stated on the website. VAT is not charged. The price of a service that has already been paid for does not change.
3.2. Payment is made in the amount of 100% before the session (for a Package – before the first session of the Package). The payment method and currency are agreed with the Client individually in correspondence before booking. After payment, the Client receives a receipt from the “My Tax” app.
3.3. A Package is paid for under a subscription-type agreement (Article 429.4 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation): the Client pays for the right to receive services during the Package term and for the Psychologist’s time reserved for the Client. The Package term is 30 calendar days from the date of the first session. The term is divided into four billing periods of 7 days; the fourth period lasts until the end of the Package term. The price of each period equals one quarter of the Package price; each period includes one session.
3.4. A billing period that has begun is paid in full, regardless of whether the Client used the session in that period for reasons within the Client’s control.
3.5. Package sessions not used within the term for reasons within the Client’s control are not carried over to the next term. With the Psychologist’s consent, they may be held within 7 days after the term ends.
3.6. A Package does not renew automatically. Each subsequent Package is paid for separately.
4. How sessions are conducted
4.1. Sessions take place online via Signal or Imo; if these are unavailable, the Parties agree on another platform in correspondence. The session length is stated on the website for each format.
4.2. For the session, the Client provides a private space where they can speak openly, a stable internet connection, good sound quality and the ability to turn on a video camera.
4.3. The date and time of a session are agreed on WhatsApp or Telegram from the available slots in the Psychologist’s schedule. As a rule, one session per week is held within a Package.
4.4. The last minutes of a session are set aside for summing up. The session ends at the agreed time; extension is possible only by mutual agreement and is paid separately.
4.5. Audio or video recording of sessions by either Party is permitted only with the other Party’s prior written consent.
5. Rescheduling, cancellation and lateness
5.1. The Client may reschedule or cancel a session by notifying the Psychologist no later than 24 hours before it starts. With later notice, or in case of a no-show, the session is considered held and paid.
5.2. If the Client is late, the session is not extended. The Psychologist waits for the Client for 20 minutes, after which the session is considered not held due to the Client’s no-show (clause 5.1).
5.3. If a session is rescheduled on the Psychologist’s initiative (illness, unforeseen circumstances), the Parties agree on a new time; where necessary, the Package term is extended by the corresponding number of days at no extra charge.
5.4. If the Client abruptly stops the work (loss of contact, refusal to pay), resuming work is not possible: the reserved time is given to another client.
6. Methods and boundaries of the work
6.1. The Psychologist independently chooses methods and techniques within the limits of their qualifications. The Client’s wishes are taken into account, but the Psychologist is not obliged to use a particular technique on request.
6.2. Homework is given with the Client’s consent and is tailored individually.
6.3. The work may include honest feedback, including feedback that causes discomfort or disagreement. This is part of the process and is not a breach of the agreement.
6.4. The result depends, among other things, on the Client’s engagement. The Psychologist does not guarantee any specific results. The Client makes all decisions independently and is responsible for them.
6.5. The Client does not attend a session under the influence of alcohol or drugs; in that case the session is not held and is considered delivered.
6.6. The Parties communicate respectfully. Insults, threats and pressure are unacceptable on either side.
6.7. The services are not emergency help. In an acute crisis or if there is a threat to life or health, the Client contacts the emergency services where they are located (911 or 988 in the US, 999 in the UK, 112 in the EU and Russia) or an emergency psychological helpline.
7. Confidentiality
7.1. The Psychologist does not disclose the fact that the Client has sought help, the content of sessions and correspondence, or any information about the Client.
7.2. Exceptions: (a) cases where disclosure is required by law; (b) an immediate threat to the life or health of the Client or other people; (c) discussion of a case in supervision in fully anonymized form; (d) the Client’s written consent.
7.3. The Client does not publish or pass to third parties correspondence with the Psychologist, voice messages, materials or exercises without the Psychologist’s written consent. The Client may speak about their own experience without disclosing these materials.
7.4. The Psychologist may keep working notes, stores them securely without the Client’s full name, and destroys them one month after the end of the work.
7.5. The Psychologist is not responsible for failures, restrictions or blocking of third-party communication services; if they are unavailable, the Parties agree on another channel.
7.6. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the website. Confidentiality obligations are indefinite.
8. Withdrawal and refunds
8.1. Single session: if cancelled no later than 24 hours in advance, the payment is refunded less the deductions specified in clause 8.4, or the session is moved to another date of the Client’s choice. With later cancellation or in case of a no-show, the payment is not refunded (clause 5.1).
8.2. Package: the Client may withdraw from a Package at any time by sending the Psychologist written notice on WhatsApp or Telegram, or by email. The refund covers the price of billing periods that had not begun on the day the notice is received, less the deductions specified in clause 8.4. The price of expired periods and of the period that began on the day of the notice is not refunded (clause 3.4). If by that day more sessions have been held than billing periods have begun, the price of a single session stated on the website is deducted for each such session.
8.3. The Psychologist may terminate the agreement by written notice to the Client if clauses 6.5 or 6.6 are breached, the rules of section 5 are systematically violated, the Client’s request falls outside the Psychologist’s competence, or other circumstances make continuing the work impossible. The refund is calculated under the rules of clause 8.2. If the agreement is terminated on the Psychologist’s initiative through no fault of the Client, the deduction in clause 8.4 (b) does not apply.
8.4. In a refund on the Client’s initiative, the costs actually incurred by the Psychologist are deducted from the amount returned:
(a) the bank or payment service fee for transferring the refund;
(b) the price of one Package session (the Package price divided by the number of sessions in it) – as compensation for booking costs: time was reserved for the Client that the Psychologist could not offer to other clients. The deduction under sub-clause (b) does not exceed the amount to be refunded.
8.5. The refund is made within 10 calendar days to the account from which the payment was received.
8.6. A mismatch between the result and the Client’s expectations, a change in the Client’s emotional state or plans, loss of interest in the work, or disagreement with the Psychologist’s feedback are not grounds for a refund of the price of services already provided.
9. Final provisions
9.1. The agreement takes effect upon payment and remains in force until the Parties have fulfilled their obligations.
9.2. The Parties recognize the legal force of correspondence on WhatsApp, Telegram and by email.
9.3. The Psychologist may amend the terms of the offer by publishing a new version on the website. For services already paid for, the version in force at the time of payment applies.
9.4. Disputes are resolved by negotiation; the response time for a written claim is 10 business days. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is resolved in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
